Bayer Vector Control
Malaria threatens the lives of more than 2 billion people worldwide. Yet Malaria can be treated and prevented. This website aims to educate and introduce Bayer Environmental Science products that have successfully been used in the war on Malaria and other diseases transmitted by arthropods and other vectors.
The control of pests such as insects, ticks and intermediate hosts which harbour, spread or actively transmit agents of endemic or epidemic diseases to humans (including but not limited to malaria, dengue fever, nagana or sleeping sickness), and urban mosquito control has been a focus area for Bayer Environmental Science for many years. In all major control programmes Bayer Environmental Science offers a wide range of services and well known brands such as K-Othrine and K-O TAB.
This site contains information about Malaria, and other vector related items.
